MEET THE CAST

ANGELA BILLMAN ANNIE When Angela isn ’ t hanging out with her husband ( Greg ) or their pup ( Buster ), she ’ s working as a Data Analyst for the Cedar Rapids Community School District . That said you ’ ve probably seen her on stage in My Fair Lady ( Eliza Doolittle ), As You Like It ( Rosalind ), and Westside Story ( Maria ), or even on screen in Everyday Families on KCRG , or Amelia 2.0 on Amazon , but now you get to see her in her true element — being a complete goofball . “ Now more than ever , we all need a good laugh . When Angela auditioned for TPTGW , she laughed so hard she nearly peed . She hopes you ’ ll have a similar ( but drier ) reaction as you get lost in the silliness of this show . Thanks to TCR and Joe for this joyful opportunity and much love to her hubby and dog for their love and support .”
JOHN ZBANEK HILL DENNIS When he ’ s not playing games off stage ( with or without his three adorable cats ) John is the Programming Specialist at the Cedar Rapids Public Library . You may have seen him in A Midsummer Night ’ s Dream ( Bottom ) at Mount Vernon / Lisbon Community Theatre , The Scarlet Pimpernel ( Percy ) at City Circle , or Assassins ( Sam Byck ) at TCR . “ Thank you to Joe Link for taking a risk on me with this character , and my wife , Kami , for her continual love and support even when I abandon her to do a show .”
JOHN MIERSEN CHRIS John has most recently been seen on the TCR stage in Shakespeare in Love ( Will ), Dracula ( Dr . Seward ), and Next Fall ( Luke ). When he ’ s not performing , you can find John playing disc golf , or hunting or fishing with his father . He currently works in Territory Sales at Acme Tools . “ Thank you to my partner Anna Slife , and my family and friends for their continued support . I hope you enjoy our silly little show .”
K . MICHAEL MOORE JONATHAN If he ’ s not on stage , K . Michael is typically pursuing his other passion : fight choreography . You might have seen his name listed in the production credits for this very show . If you don ’ t know him from his work at Iowa City ’ s Finest Abstracting Company , you may have seen him in Once ( Billy ), or Into the Woods ( Baker ) at TCR , or in Shakespeare ’ s Land of the Dead ( William ) at CCTC . “ Many thanks to TCR for bringing this favorite show to Cedar Rapids . Thanks to a fabulous cast and crew for making every rehearsal a time of fun and exploration .”
