Gastronomic use
Lavender flowers are edible and can be used in the preparation of digestive
infusions and appetizers. A flowery summit per cup of water will suffice, leaving
it to boil for a few minutes. The plant has also been used for making liquors. The
flower can be eaten if you like (adding honey or sugar if it turns out to be very
bitter), and the infusion has a delicate, very pleasant balsamic aroma.
