I know Butterfly Corpse is a young Band, who are some of the bands (Signed or Unsigned) that have influenced you?

Jess: Well my biggest influence is my Dad, he and I sang together in choir when we were young. I’m OBSESSED with Evanescence Halestorm Flyleaf, and Metallica. My favorite local bands…oh man where do I start… One of my all time favorites was Blu Avenue, but they are no longer together, Frank’s vocals inspired a lot of how I’m singing now, and Josh is like my older brother and the way he plays guitar influenced a lot of how I think of writing now. I love Luna’s Lament, Poor Man’s Fame, Tattermask, Something Clever, and a specific artist that is an indie artist is Sara Corbin Clumsy Guitar Goddess, her voice is just magic.

Matthew: Nevermore, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Killswitch Engage.

Ethan: I’ve been influenced by many bands, August Burns Red, Avenged Sevenfold, Dream Theater, Slipknot, Periphery, and many more

Brandon: Joey Jordison of Slipknot.Travis Barker of Blink-182, Matt Griener of August Burns Red, Luke Holland of The Word Alive, and Valentino Arteaga of Of Mice & Men.

Jordan: Honestly my guitar instructor Jason Sossoman is one of my biggest influences, Chris Cornell influenced my voice. What got me into playing was punk music like Against Me!, Black Flag, Subhumans. Recently the band Twelve Foot Ninja has really influenced me in all kinds of ways.
