Track eight is the song that displays just how much talent each every member contains in this mix of hard driving musicians. Each musician on this song plays something a little different from the other, but with perfect and impeccable timing. It is almost like each member throughout the song has their own solo part without taking away from the fluidity of the song. It’s heavy flow of parts melded and blended with each playing their own piece in this song makes it one of the best written masterpieces on this collection and add an already bright shine to an incredible collection of music.
Track nine “Drive” does exactly what the title says. It takes off like a top fuel funny car on the dragstrip but the ride is for 3 minutes and 32 seconds of bone jarring riffing power. The solo is a blistering heavy blues influenced grind of notes that leave you shaking your head while they fly at you note after note after note. It is the perfect song to pop in your car stereo and listen to while driving 100 mph on the interstate with the windows down and the volume cranked to 50!
The final track on this release “Padded Room” is the finisher and what a finisher! Almost wish it was one that would be released as a single for everyone to hear. It is the perfect hard driver to shine on any hard rockin’ radio stations mix in their program. It fits perfect with today’s radio sound and yet can stand alone all by itself as a chart topper on any publication. Melodic, but still with the heavy groove influence that is the trademark of this band. A last but not least song that fits as good at the end as if it were at the beginning, it’s a ripper that if shared with your friends all by itself, will make them want to buy this CD.
All in all, an exceptional piece of hard work put together by a group of musicians that have spent hours in the studio perfecting this collection to make it exactly what it is; an ultra amazing compilation of songs that will leave your hair standing on end, and your senses wondering what you just heard and felt with each song.
