When did you realize that photography would be such a big part of your life?

)I've always had a fondness for taking photos. But being a stay at home mom with two baby girls, really got me to pick up a camera for the first time. It's been about 10 years now. My photography career in the Portland music scene only started about 2 years ago. When I was taken to a Floater show. (one of my favorite bands) All I had was a really crappy cell phone with me, I was so mad that I didn't get a single picture. So the next show I brought a better camera. With lots of hard work and learning how to use the tools I had, I managed to advance my photography with one new camera at a time. Also I found out how fun it was to photograph live music and ever since I've strived to make my photography better. Just being able to share and be a part of the amazing moments made up on stage and all the moments in between, is mind blowing. I love it! I'v had the pleasure of meeting bands from all over the west coast from Seattle to L.A.

How often do you attend shows and photograph them?

Just about every opportunity I get I'm at a show. I'm at everyone I can make it to. At least 4 shows a month, most months more!

The modeling part of my photography is something new for me. I'v taken all sorts of photos, but I have to say modeling photography is a lot of fun with all the control that I have over the outcome of my shots. It's quickly becoming a form of photography I like to do.
