3 Quarters Dead is a very popular band in the local Rock Scene, what is it about the band that draws so much fan support?

I think the big thing is because we don't fit into any specific music syle. If you like Hard Rock and Metal music, then there is something in every song we have that will appeal to you. We highly appreciate our fans as well. We do anything we can to make sure they can access all aspects of the band. We try to make our live show an actual "experience" . We've got a certain onstage look, feel, and attitude and it really adds to the overall success of the show.

You guys won a spot to play at the Carolina Rebellion, how big was this for the band?

IT WAS GIGANTIC!!! We got to play in front of about 10,000 crazy fans that day. It was one of the greatest happenings of my life i know. I'd say the same for the rest of the guys. We had full access backstage, catering, our own parking, and we got to meet some of our musical idols.106.5 The End promoted it to no end. It was a massive amount of exposure for us and to that we are VERY grateful.

When was the band founded and how did the name come about?

The original lineup first started playing together in May of 1999. The name came from our original drummer and bass player. As humans we are made up of four major parts. Mind, body, heart and soul. The mind, body, and heart eventually die,but the soul lives on forever, therefore leaving you 3 Quarters Dead.
