GYMNA STICS RELATES TO ACADEMICS & CHARACTER
Gymnastics, a time consuming sport, teaches you how to
manage your time. It provides a sense of urgency that
helps with management skills.
Gymnastics teaches how to set gymnastics as well as
academic goals.
Gymnastics is the architect of a child ’s brain. Bilateral
activities, common to all gymnastics programs, requires both
sides of the body to work together and separately.
Gymnastics is an educational sport. Many benefits of
gymnastics are not related to learning skills, but more
importantly, to developmental areas that will help your
child become a better student.
Gymnastics translates discipline, dedication, time
management and commitment learned in gymnastics into
success in the classroom.
Gymnasts get good grades throughout elementar y, middle
school, high school and college. A recent study proved
that NCAA gymnasts achieved a 3.5 or better grade point
average.
Participation in gymnastics is a positive force in the life of
a child and their academic lives and careers.
