The USNF Big Ol’ Gay Committee The UU Big Ol’ Gay Committee invites you to our annual LGBT service. Joining us this year is Mohamed Ibrahim, a professor from Egypt, who will share his story as a gay Muslim man. We will share our reflections on why we are proud to bring our unique gifts to our families, communities, and the world. May 11 One Service at 10 AM Pretty Good Progeny The Reverend Janet C. Bush A meditation on parents and offspring and doing the best we can. Music will be provided by the UU Jazz Jam. Children will begin in the service and then have activities downstairs. May 18 Service for All Ages at 10 AM A Neat Street? The Reverend Janet C. Bush and Cindy Beal, DRE A multi-generational celebration of difference and community as we reprise the telling of Daniel Pinkwater’s Big Orange Splot. The service will feature a special ceremony of welcome to everyone who has signed our membership book in the past two years. Please note coffee hour happens BEFORE the service, and Annual Meeting will take place immediately following. Activities and snacks for children will be provided during the meeting. May 25 One Service at 10 AM We Remember The Reverend Janet C. Bush and Gregory Hayes, Director of Music A memorial day meditation. The service will include reading the names of people whom those in the congregation wish to remember and honor.
