You Make My Heart Sing - by Lisa Slavid
Hello!
Happy New Year old friends
and welcome new friends,
we’re so glad you’re here.
Another year of joys, sorrows,
triumphs and disappointments
have come and gone. There have
been many changes at The Pink Paper.

power of change to bring growth

and transformation. Aristotle said,
“Change in all things is sweet.” We agree! Although change
can be difficult and uncomfortable at times, it is sweet when
we allow it to be and 2014 is our year for allowing...our year to
say, “Yes” to ourselves.
We usher in this new year of possibilities with the hard, but
necessary decision to stop offering The Pink Paper magazine in
print. As a lover of books/magazines in print; their feel when
you hold them, their smell, their way look on a shelf, this was a
really tough decision. We agonized. We held out. We debated.
Ultimately, to survive, we changed. As a way to honor this
decision with grace we’re offering the winter issue, this issue,
for free, no subscription needed. Please tell all your friends,
share it on social media, shout it from the rooftops...
So, here’s to health, happiness and hope in whatever package they arrive, brilliantly adorned with glitter and bows or
wrapped sloppily in unassuming newsprint. May we be ready
to accept, to say, “Yes” and to allow the sweetness of change.
All the best,
Natalie & Roy
