Hi friends!
F
all is officially here. Can you feel it in the air? I have a bit of a
love / hate relationship with fall because I know what follows
and thinking about the cold, long winter kind of bums me
out...when I let it. Today, I’m not letting it.
First I’d like to thank our faithful readers for being here with us.
You’re the best! Second, I’d like to send a hearty “Welcome” to all our
new readers and subscribers. We appreciate your taking the time to
hang out at The Pink Paper, it means a lot to us and
we are confident you’ll find what you need. If
you have idea’s about topics you’d like to see
covered please send us an e-mail any time.
We love to hear from you.
This issue is all about THRIVING,
not merely surviving. Thriving, especially
when faced with what may seem like an
overwhelming challenge can be really
tough, which is why it’s so admirable.
Thriving to me means to flourish, grow
and evolve with grace. Thrivers are like the
flowers you see poking their heads up bravely
and defiantly through a crack in a concrete

sidewalk. We, you and I, are those flowers. We
Natalie Palmer, M.A.
are strong, unstoppable and totally able to go
with the flow. With that said, we’re proud to share the stories of four
spirited thrivers in the “Story Share” section.
Our special feature highlights individuals who are committed to
making a difference and making the world, and especially the world of
breast cancer, a better place. There are many, many people who give
and do so much, we applaud them all, but due to space constraints
we’ve chosen a bit more than a dozen movers and shakers from all
around the country to share a little about who they are and what
they’re doing. We know you’ll love them as much as we do!
Don’t forget to check us out on the web at: www.thepinkpaper.com
where The Pink Paper Blog regularly features guest bloggers who share
their expertise and insights. We’ve also partnered with Guidepost, so
you’ll find a spot on the “Prayer” page where you can submit a prayer
and a prayer team will pray for you or your loved one. How cool is that?
We wish you all a happy, healthy fall!
Much love,
Natalie
