The Printing Industries Association of the Philippines (PIAP) is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year (1963-2013). As a fitting tribute,
PIAP will launch its full color coffee table book on the occasion of the opening of the 9th Print Philippines 2013 Exhibit on September
18-21, 2013 back to back with the 16th National Printers Convention” at the World Trade Center, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City. The launch
celebrates 50 years of history with a massive, detailed archive of colourful photographs and memorabilia. This unique Flipbook gives
the reader a comprehensive, invaluable insight both into PIAP and the “Print Philippines” Brand.
The Coffee Table Book tells you about the innovation and technology that is an intrinsic part of the “Print Philippines” story so far.
Always at the forefront of the development of amplification, with years spent studying, experimenting and testing in order to improve on
the best: in the words of Pres. Emeritus John L. Choa, “The ‘Print Philippines’ brand didn’t just happen, it has taken years to perfect.”
On his part, PP Ric Tansipek said, “PIAP’s coffee table book will sit proudly on any coffee table, keeping the reader entertained with
insightful, thought-provoking memorabilia. The pictures are a feast for the eyes; the commentary is lively and full of warmth and wit –
flicking through is a joy.”
The coffee table book tells an illustrated story of this quest, showing how the Print Philippines exhibits truly did become the “Voice of
the Philippine Printing Industry”.
No. 2: PIAP’s Printers Directory and Buyers Guide
Now on its third edition, the Directory is aimed at serving as a quick guide or reference tool for printing practitioners in the Philippines
and an updated list of printers nationwide.
