Vladimir has recently developed talk shows for Bully Busters
702, a non-profit organization whose mission is to eradicate
bullying through knowledge, education, empowerment and
support and East Valley Family Services, a resource center that
helps families, children and seniors to become and remain selfsufficient, healthy and socially responsible.
“It’s a blessing to work with these non-profit organizations.
I met the people at East Valley Family Services through a
lady that they had helped. The stories that they told me were
unbelievable.”
“I offered them a show so they could help others. The look
that I saw in their eyes was priceless.”
“There are so many organizations out there who have
good intentions and we want to create partnerships with more
of them. We have created platforms within our radio station to
give back to the community.”
Many of the hosts who come to WBKEVegasradio.com
are relatively new to broadcasting and need help with the
development of their show formats and business strategies.
Vladimir and Peggy often find themselves in leadership roles as
they provide guidance to their show hosts.
“We help them with the facilitation of the visions,” Vladimir
said. They talk to us about how they need help with getting
advertisers and other things and we try to get them to see the
end game. It is very important for them to see their shows as
entrepreneurial ventures rather than hobbies.
Vladimir recently discovered that helping people pursue
their dreams by becoming radio personalities can have
implications that
reach further
than creating
financially
successful
shows.
“A young
man started a
show with us
and after a few
broadcasts,
members of his
family came
from out of town
to watch him
on the air. His
mother told us
how grateful she
was that we had
helped him start
a show because
he had been
suicidal and really struggling in life for quite some time. She
said that his life has completely changed as a result of being on
the radio.”
“It means the world to me to connect with a fellow parent
like that. Knowing that I helped her child turn his life around
means more to me than anything else. I live for moments like
that.”
