Vladimir has recently developed talk shows for Bully Busters 702, a non-profit organization whose mission is to eradicate bullying through knowledge, education, empowerment and support and East Valley Family Services, a resource center that helps families, children and seniors to become and remain selfsufficient, healthy and socially responsible. “It’s a blessing to work with these non-profit organizations. I met the people at East Valley Family Services through a lady that they had helped. The stories that they told me were unbelievable.” “I offered them a show so they could help others. The look that I saw in their eyes was priceless.” “There are so many organizations out there who have good intentions and we want to create partnerships with more of them. We have created platforms within our radio station to give back to the community.” Many of the hosts who come to WBKEVegasradio.com are relatively new to broadcasting and need help with the development of their show formats and business strategies. Vladimir and Peggy often find themselves in leadership roles as they provide guidance to their show hosts. “We help them with the facilitation of the visions,” Vladimir said. They talk to us about how they need help with getting advertisers and other things and we try to get them to see the end game. It is very important for them to see their shows as entrepreneurial ventures rather than hobbies. Vladimir recently discovered that helping people pursue their dreams by becoming radio personalities can have implications that reach further than creating financially successful shows. “A young man started a show with us and after a few broadcasts, members of his family came from out of town to watch him on the air. His mother told us how grateful she was that we had helped him start a show because he had been suicidal and really struggling in life for quite some time. She said that his life has completely changed as a result of being on the radio.” “It means the world to me to connect with a fellow parent like that. Knowing that I helped her child turn his life around means more to me than anything else. I live for moments like that.” The F
