time expounded the
traits and characteristics that make
up ‘being’ a Philantrepreneur. Some
of these traits include business
savvy and drive, being visionary
yet present, being a personable
relationship builder, and of course
being compassionate while placing
community impact as a major component of business development
strategies. These are personal and
business traits that impact a sphere
of influence which includes business, community and those who
have good fortune to cross paths
and come into their world. A Philantrepreneur creates pathways to
success for their own business and
everyone they touch. Recently, we
came across one such person,– Las
Vegas real estate mogul, Donald
Richard Lainer, Realtor, Business
Broker, Author, Speaker, Public
Figure – a true Philantrepreneur.
THE VISIONARY
Don, as most know him, was born in the
San Francisco Bay Area in the city of Oakland,
Dr. Victoria Boyd and Donald Lainer
California. He grew up in Las Vegas graduating from Eldorado
High School. After high school, he studied at the Phoenix Institute
for Architecture where he gained exposure to the business of real
estate. That was all he needed. In 1989, while residing in southern
Utah and working in the field of Architectural Design, Don began
his real estate career purchasing property through Better Homes
and Gardens in the Las Vegas area. He hasn’t looked back since. In
1996, after acquiring several properties, he relocated back to the
Las Vegas market, working with the real estate brokerage Prudential Americana, where his success continued. Riding the wave of
multiple shared transactions and an overflow of business, in 2004,
Don launched one of the most synergistic teams of associates in
real estate, The Platinum Elite Group. Recognized initially for their
