My name is Ashley but I also go by Lucid Dreamer. I am a 21 year old college student from the lovely city of Chicago. I love art and it has been apart of my life since I was old enough to pick up a pencil. My style has never been stuck in one stagnant place. It is forever changing and I love that. I've dabbled in so many different mediums and that's what keeps me so involved in artistry. I love that with art, you can experiment and try so many things. As far as my specialties, I am a portrait artist, painter and graphic designer. I also do freestyle art such as font and logo creation. My art is a reflection of me. As general as that sounds, its true. In my art are aspects of who I am as far as what music I like or how I feel. I draw or create when I feel a certain way and that's just when I can create best. I've always been that way and when I tell people that, they don't always understand. So i say its just like how people eat when they feel or sing, dance and cry when they feel. I draw, paint or illustrate. Sad, happy, excited, anxious, anything... I just draw. I've always had the attitude that regardless of what people think of what I create, whether good or bad, I will be confident and proud of what comes from my head and onto paper. And with this, it feels nice to see that people can appreciate something that comes from my heart. I appreciate all support given to me and I use it everyday and every time I pick up a pen, pencil, tablet or paintbrush.
