Romantic Gentleman Each culture has different dating rituals and places to meet and interact from coffee shops to dance floors & beach bars they do change somewhat wherever you are in the world. This advice is equally relevant if you are looking to romance other holidaymakers or locals. Add to this your general dating preparation (as you should know by now a Gentleman always prepares) you will be on a happy path to holiday happiness. The Holiday Approach Like approaching anyone in any situation, the holiday is no different. As we always say at the PG courses think about the 3 core things: Appropriateness; Confidence & Charm. Appropriateness - make sure that when you approach any one that looks like the right time. I have seen men approach ladies when they are in the middle of a debate with a friend or when they are snoozing on a sun lounger. Timing is everything, make sure you choose the right time. Confidence - the one good thing about being on Holiday is generally your confidence will increase. Which is good if you generally lack in confidence but never be overly confident that it veers into overbearing or cockiness. Quiet confidence boosted by the holiday vibe will be coming through every pore. The key to building quick rapport is being confident in yourself. Charm - Some say you are born with it but we know it can be taught. 18 Being charming on holiday is much easier, there are more topics of conversation and people are more likely to give you a little leeway to be cheeky but never forget to be self-effacing. As with approaching anyone anywhere - Keep your opening conversation simple and gentle. You can make reference to the place you are in, whether that be the exact location or the resort. The goal of the opening conversation is to gain further time to establish further rapport. Finally, if you are rebuffed, politely walk away. It was not the correct time, place or chemistry. Never take offence and you never know what will happen in the future.
