Gentleman Hack
if you are staying at a good hotel , then the shampoo & conditioner will probably of quality so you won ’ t have to take yours . Do check ahead of time most hotels will let you know what products they stock .
For your body , you will need to replenish the skin after toasting yourself in the sun all day . You can get a purposely designed after sun , such as an Aloe Vera Gel but equally as good is a good Body Butter , that you can find in the Body Shop or Hawaiian Tropic do a good one . ( Keep the After Sun in the fridge for extra coolness after the blazing sun !)
Do purchase a separate facial moisturizer . You don ’ t want to glisten whilst wearing it , so pick a matte product with a good SPF factor as well . Dove for Men & Kiehls are good examples .
Shaving
You might not want to shave as frequently whilst on Holiday and we totally understand . It is always good to give your skin a rest , but if you are like our # 1PG then you start itching after 3 days , you will need to bring the razor . If you don ' t regularly already , then certainly shave at the end of the day whilst on vacation . Do take a new blade with you , depending on how long you are away this should last the trip . If you don ’ t have one , it might be a good investment to purchase a travel badger hair brush and you can get tubes of Shaving Cream & small bottles of pre-shave oil . All perfect for a trip away and also time to discover a new product or two .
If you can , it might be a good time for a pamper , if you can ’ t get a good wet shave where you are , then do it yourself . You can steam , use hot & cold towels and take your time doing multiple passes with the razor .
Fragrance
Keep the fragrances light and airy for the summer holidays . It might be a good idea to try something new , you can pick up in Duty Free at the airport .
Deodorant is essential , once again make sure you build your fragrance in conjunction with your moisturizers and fragrances . We always say double up on the deodorant , it is always wise .
Gentleman Hack
To avoid those clear plastic bags full of your products or distilling bottles . Swap out your liquid items for solid ones . Swap Body Wash for Soap , do the same for face wash . You will be surprised how much you can swap out .
