Baru island is a former peninsula south of Cartagena. The Canal del Dique cut it off from the
mainland. It is approximately 25 km long and in places is less than 1 km wide. It is famous
for its white sand beach and blue water. 
Our main spot for the show is located in the South part of Baru island, called Cholón.

ACCESS
1. BY BOAT: A boat can be hired from Cartagena to Baru. The length of the trip is 50 minutes.
The boats are quite comfortable and can take 50 passengers and more (with a lot of luggage).
By the way, the luggage storage area is big and it keeps it really dry.   
The voyage is smooth; there is just a part of the trip that can get a bit bumpy. The boats leaves
from several ports located at maximum 10 minutes from Cartagena downtown. 
Is possible travel by boat from and to Cartagena until 4 pm due to the conditions of the sea.

2. BY LAND: Is possible arrive to the Hotel by road at any time, the road is part paved part
uncovered. Travel takes 1 hour. 

3. BY BOAT AND LAND: Other options (the best to transport equipment and materials) is take
a vehicle (any kind) from Cartagena to a Baru dock. The road is totally paved and safety at
anytime. Travel takes 50 minutes. And then take a boat (at anytime) from the dock to the
Production base (hotel or main house set). Travel by boat take 10 minutes. Also is possible
take a cargo boat to transport generators and heavy materials. The voyage in this part is very
smooth.
