Tentacles
If you must
Evade the tentacles
Wriggle continuously
Don't let them grasp
Or drag you down
To the depths of their longings
Let yourself float
There's no need to hurry
The magenta conspiracies will
still be there
And the eventual sinking
Still occur
It is necessary
The sinking
Through transparent eventualities
An escape of sorts
An episode
Where deep breaths are a must
Fear not the pale extremities of fear
They wait for the unconvinced
Chewing slowly
Fear not the incongruous unknown
Appearing to sleep but ready
Claws sharp
Avoid the tentacles
And you are halfway there
to Love
