DIY SUMMER

DENIM JACKET

Summer is a special time of the year that comes with a lot of colours, flowers and pollen. * sneezes * When summers are around the corner, all the big fashion houses fill their stores with colorful sundresses and everything floral and colorful. You see all the micro celebrities following latest trends and looking really fabulous. This summer the Iron On Patches took the Indian Market by storm. We first saw Alia Bhatt wearing them and cue everyone else. But if we go to Forever 21 or H & M to buy those patch jackets, they will of course be pricey. However, being a trendy Indian teen, I wanted to get the look and at the same time not burn a hole in my pocket. And being the DIY-obsessed-queen I am, I decided to do this myself and share the results with you all.

For the DIY you will need:

‣ Iron-On Patches

‣ Iron / Press

‣ Any Clothing Article you want to glam up( I chose my denim jacket and denim shorts)

I ordered the Iron-On Patches from AliExpress, and then I had to wait for one whole month for them to finally arrive,( I ordered in March and they came by April), then searched on Pinterest for some ways I could use the patch, settling on Denim Jacket and Shorts. The procedure was really easy but really tedious, as each and every patch had to be ironed for 4-5 minutes and then pressed with a wet cloth so that it would cool down and stick.
