STARFLEET Elec on nomina ons CO, The USS Niagara has ?led its nomina on for the post of Com? USS mander of STARFLEET in the upcoming elec on for ADM Wayne Killough, who seems to have a good background of what is needing to be Niagara done. A er the nomina on was ?led I was ask by the Mike Timko cket to be on his slate as possible Commandant of STARFLEET Academy. I ac? cepted the posi on and though I don’t completely agree with all or Mike’s ideas at this me, I have had the opportunity to at least have the ability to comment on his pla orm. Either way I feel I am doing the best thing possible for the Niagara, and The Academy and STARFLEET as a whole. The elec on will be held in No? vember and the new slate of o?cers will take over January 1. In other things happening, there are being a lot of new directors taking over Colleges star ng July 1. I have been ask to relinquish some of my directorships to open posi ons allowing more people to have the experience in the Academy. This is also prepara on for my work assignment change a er January. If Wayne wins the elec on, I would become the Assistant Commandant of the Academy, and if Mike wins the elec on, I would become the Commandant. Either way there will be addi onal du es.
