Shelter Pet Art for a Cause !

Arlington Animal Services Digital X-Ray Machine Fundraiser !

HAPPY TAILS
To help injured animals get diagnosed and treated as soon as possible , Arlington Animal Services is striving to enhance veterinary services with the purchase of a digital x-ray machine to more effectively treat the injured pets who find their way into the shelter .
A new digital x-ray machine will enable our shelter vet team to quickly assess an animal and make a diagnosis . This will ultimately decrease the stress on injured animals and save valuable time and resources . With the instant results this equipment will provide , staff can begin treatment immediately which is critical when dealing with internal injuries , trauma or fractured bones .
To assist with raising the additional funds for the digital x-ray machine , AAS shelter pets are showing off their artistic skills and creating shelter art ! Each painting is paw-made available for just a $ 20 donation towards the x-ray machine .
To make a donation to assist in the purchase of the digital x-ray machine visit : https :// arlingtontx . gov / animalservices / donations In the personal message please state : " X-Ray Machine "
We have said it once , and we will say it again ... not all happy tails are in the form of cat and dog tails ! Like for Ms . Piggy ... found wandering the streets of Arlington , Ms . Piggy was brought to the shelter as a lost stray pet . While serving her stray hold , an owner came forward who realized he was unable to continue caring for the pig and decided it was best to surrender her to the shelter . The very next day Ms . Piggy was adopted and moved on to living her best life with her new owners !
