With summer temperatures out in full force , we urge you to leave pets at home when out running errands ! Pets can suffer greatly and even die in the hot temperatures , especially when left outside in the heat for long periods of time or in a car that can reach 106 Degrees after only 10 minutes of being parked . Also - don ’ t forget that the sidewalks and roadway pavement are also incredibly hot . Don ’ t let your pets burn their feet by walking them during days with elevated temperatures ! Protect your pet during hot weather ! Pavement temperatures can be 40 to 60 degrees warmer than air temps !
