Holiday Giving Tree !
Staff at AAS decided to feel festive in the shelter all year long , all for a good cause , by sharing wish list items of our shelter pets ! What was previously our Christmas Angel Tree will now be our Holiday Giving Tree , decorated for the holiday ' s throughout the year ! This month , we are spreading the love with Valentine ' s wishes . Each tag features a different wish list item and a pet Arlington Animal Services has cared for with a QR code to help you shop safely and conveniently from the comfort of your home .
Merlin had a grand adventure ! At the beginning of January , Merlin went missing from his home in Missouri . The beautiful Great Dane was brought to Arlington Animal Services after he was found as a stray in the City . Staff was happy to hear the beep of the microchip scanner which allowed them to call an elated owner . That owner quickly worked on a plan to get to Arlington and two days later , with so much joy and happiness , Merlin and his person were reunited and together again !
