Unleash the Pawsitive !

Happy Tails !

On August 11th , VIP Dog Sprinkles , now named Pinkerton , found her furever home with the Groves family ! Pinkerton was a VIP Pet because she tested positive for heartworm disease . Thanks to a grant from Best Friends Animal Society , her
heartworm treatment was sponosored . We know she will get all the TLC and love from her girls while she heals .
This NEW section of the PawPrint will feature a story of Pawsitivity that happened at Arlington Animal Services this month !
A stray dog was brought to the shelter , and as part of our normal day and shelter protocol , the first thing staff did was scan the dog for a microchip . Sure enough , this dog had one ! Staff made the phone call and a VERY excited owner answered ! This dog whose name is Masiah , had been missing for THREE YEARS ! The family raced over to the shelter and the reunion was one we will always remember ! Maisah belonged to a young girl who is an only child and this dog was her BEST friend . Masiah and her girl were inseparable , and when he went missing , the mother told us that she was devastated and continued to talk about him all of the time . At this reunion , we honestly couldn ' t tell you who was happier … the little girl who cried tears of happiness ; or Masiah , whose tail never stopped wagging and kept rolling over for belly rubs !!!!
