YA can be a story about a boy made of oak and wood, but can also be a memoir about never knowing what ethnicity to check on a standardized test form. YA can be a poem about teenagers locking lips in the woods, but can also be a poem about a hometown far away that you might never see again. YA is all this and more. I love young adult literature, because it holds so many different types of stories all at the same time. I hope you agree as you read the first issue of The
Passed Note.
