From the Editor’s Desk
was fortunate enough to join Ke Nako Media (Private) Limited at a time when they were planning the launch of The Parade magazine.
To our potential readers and advertisers out there, we promise to give you value for money in terms of our content especially on social, entertainment, culture, religion, beauty, health and sports coverage. The Parade is a worthwhile project and we intend to do it well. During our planning leading to the launch of our first issue, we have had many wise and talented people mentoring us as a team. We have also faced many challenges which threatened to derail the project. I am glad we gave it a good fight and we conquered. We promise you a good product both in terms of content and quality of printing. With your support we will take the magazine to greater heights. I promise you we will not take short cuts that will compromise our quality and integrity. From the great outdoors and the countryside to the opulence of our towns and cities, we promise to provide as much coverage as possible. During the course of the year, we will be running The Parade Queen pegeant which we hope will bring as many contestants as possible from all over Zimbabwe. We hope our presence on the market will be exceptional. We do not only hope to climb the mountain, but to go over it with the support of our valued readers and advertisers. Yes it has been a busy planning period but we have tried our best to do justice to the magazine. As a team we have taken the wealth of knowledge and experience gathered during the past few months and we are now ready to transcend into the reality of putting The Parade on the market every month. As a magazine of choice, we believe we w ill be able to give exposure to the wealth of Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage and many other social issues. TP
