Entrepreneurship is the only one avenue that can be used to empower the school leaver. The indigenisation drive has not been implemented transparently and is not affording all youths equal opportunities. Other challenges which are faced by young entrepreneurs besides capital imbabwe’s literacy rate is quite high. It is even ranked the highest in Africa but the major hurdle that we have is the high rate of unemployment. This is an indicator of the state of the Zimbabwean economy which has been affected by many forces. Government managed to implement its education for all policy effectively to counter the effects of the imperialist regime which had failed to provide adequate education to the indigenous Zimbabweans through its racist policies. However, for most high school, college and university graduates, leaving school has become a nightmare as they have to struggle with hunting for a job in this over flooded job market where they face gross corruption and nepotism. The unemployment situation in Zimbabwe is further worsened by the poor remuneration, working conditions of those who have had the privilege of finding employment and thus the culture of saving among Zimbabweans is dead. Most workers live on a hand to mouth basis and most families live below the poverty datum line.
