Meet the female MC’s of Zimdancehall

ancehall genre has traditionally always been a man’s world. When we talk about Zimdancehall it is usually associated
with big-name male performers such as Winky D, Soul Jah, Tocky Vibes, Kinnah, Sniper and Seh Calaz whose music has
easily found its way to radio stations, clubs and subsequently the public.
However, their female counterparts have been toiling day and night to make a name for themselves in the maledominated industry.
The general consensus is that female chanters have the potential to be big stars in their own rights if they are not sidelined by
DJs and promoters.

or no recognition at all.
