THE PARABOLAS IN THE REAL LIFE 1 | Page 5

tThe uses of a parabola are all around us in human made things, nature and do have a very benefitial use.In human made things the parabolas can be use to make objects that can concentrate very high amounts of heat, sound and light on a certain point. For example in heat the parabolic shape is used in fans and heaters, in the sound there can be made parabolic reflectors that can amplify the sound transmitted to them, and finally in light the parabolic shape is used in lights and mirrors because it makes a very strong focal point. Parabolas also can be found in nature like for example in a volcanic explosion or in an erupting geyser the magma of water takes the shape of a parabola and when you throw an object as its falling it takes the form of a parabola. In conclusion the form of a parabola is useful to concentrate wether its heat, sound, or light in a certain point and this shape can be found in nature or in objects made by humans. As established parabolas are all around us.
