Always wear a buoyancy aid
When paddling, always wear a buoyancy aid or personal floatation device( PFD). It will help keep you afloat in case of an accident. Buoyancy aids can be worn when paddling all crafts, and standup paddleboarding is an option if it is a waist PFD. If paddleboarding, also ensure you wear the right leash for the environment and conditions you’ ll be paddling in.
