Niamh Stack was introduced to white water whilst
carrying out a voluntary project on the banks of the
White Nile. The big volume rapids got her hooked
and she has since been travelling with her kayak on
various adventures, from first descents in Georgia, to
multi-day fun in Colombia.
After the Sri Lanka expedition Niamh spent two
further months working with a rafting company; safety
kayaking and coaching local kayakers.
