Hello and welcome to the first edition of The PACK!
The PACK is the first magazine in the country focussing on local grass root sports. Bursting with inspiring stories about people who make local sports great, as well as generous business owners who are helping to keep clubs open. I hope you will feel as proud and excited about our local sports clubs as we do. People often ask me why I started on this journey so now I have revealed all on Page 4. The PACK features stories and news about sport at grass roots level, so I’m making a personal request to you to email me if you want your team, group, or club to be included. You can get some great recognition for your cause! There will be lots of regular articles, such as our Rising Star, Club Hero and Sportlight which highlight local sports players and clubs, as well as competitions, awards and advertorials, which I hope you will enjoy reading. If you want to nominate someone for an award or to feature then just go to our website and complete the entry form. Many of the advertisers in this magazine are also sponsors of your local club so please remember to quote ‘The PACK’ when responding to any of the adverts as we hope this will convince them to continue to support local clubs.
