TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP FOR PACIFICA AN INTERVIEW WITH ARCHIE JUDAN
A &
“ BEING DIFFERENT IS A RISK THAT EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE ”
A s owner of one of the first cannabis dispensaries in Pacifica , Archie Judan has been a catalyst in Measure G and the commoditization of cannabis for the general public . In a health and wellness environment , this has been integral to finding innovative solutions like IV drops , CBD products , and other holistic approaches . In addition , it ’ s marked Pacifica as a recreational place of solitude to find peace of mind and to detoxify physically , mentally , and spiritually . That ’ s the feeling that should draw people into coming here ; a feeling that everyone living here seems to have . We are healthy , alive , blessed , and humble .
Archie continues to explore new ventures and to create businesses with impact using new models designed to stand the test of time . Working as a minority in Pacifica is challenging , yet this Filipino business leader has carved himself a niche and emerged as a face and voice of our community .
In this pioneer issue of The Pacifica Anchor , we wanted to highlight someone in the community working so hard to make a difference . How does that recognition resonate with you ?
“ I ’ m humbled . Serving the community and helping improve the quality of life here ; our environment and our community mind-set is something I ’ m committed to and take very seriously . I ’ m always working to make Pacifica more welcoming , and I ’ ve tried to share the philosophy of being more giving , more helpful , and more sensitive with everyone I interact with here . Ultimately , I ’ d like to help create a space where everyone respects each other ’ s circumstances and where we can all work and live symbiotically .”
Were all these qualities taught to you growing up ?
“ Absolutely , I was completely exposed to it with my mom being so active in the community . She served on the planning committee for Hercules Up North and was also president of the Lions Club . She always brought us along and around like-minded individuals looking to improve the community and the lives of people in the community .”
