Second Topic:
Loyalty and Copycats- those who copy other chapter's and those who are chapter hoppers who bounce from one org to another
lEirennel: ok..this is an important topic because I have seen this happen quite often within my own chapter before and it hurts the soror and frat when people do it because that person will most likely down talk your soro and chapter or your frat and it’s sometimes hard to keep things original when there are so many of the same frats and sorors out there with different chapters because you don’t want to compete within your soror but what do u do when its hard to find people who will be loyal to you. A lot of people too busy looking for the fun frat or soror instead of learning the history and wanting to represent that.
TezzyRoyal: I am going to speak on what Fortitude spoke on about the Hoppers. I feel like if you going to hop from one frat/soro to another what's the purpose of pledging. And for those who feel like they got to steal your ideas is jacka**** I am sorry.
Eustacia: Loyalty within a fraternity and a sorority is everything. When you claim to be all about sisterhood/brotherhood and then you end up leaving your sisterhood or brotherhood for another you have basically lied to not only them but also yourself because sisterhood and brotherhood is the key to loyalty. And if you pledge just to get ideas or steal others ideas to make your own than your sorority or fraternity will not succeed because you will soon run out of other people’s ideas and will have to think on your own and if you had so much courage in your own ideas you wouldn’t have to steal others. So without belief and motivation in yourself to make your own ideas it will not work for you at all in the greek life and none will respect you.
