I: Thank you for the opportunity to talk with you.

M: Thank you for interviewing me.

I: Well I don’t want to take up too much of your time so let’s get down to it shall we? Tell me about your affiliation with Alpha Phi Alpha, your chapter, etc..?

M: I founded Alpha Phi Alpha Epsilon Psi Chapter on IMVU in May of 2013. I’m APA in real life too.

I: Oh that’s wonderful :) You stated to me earlier that you were a one man frat. Care to elaborate on that?

M: Well I had drama with members. One member was dating the president of an AKA chapter and she was feeding him stuff for the frat to do. He got pissed when I told her to mind her own business. Then two of the brothers were her friends so they left. One member quit, and three of them no longer come on IMVU at all. The two other RL APA members hardly came on when I came back from a 3 week vacation. I was the only member. They all unfriended me.

I: OMG that’s just horrible. I’m sorry to hear that you went through that.

M: Well that’s the trouble with dealing with IMVU frat members who not RL frat members. They do not really understand things and think frats are for getting women to sleep with on here.

I: Yes, that is a problem that I have also noticed. Do you have any future plans to rebuild your chapter?

M: Yes I do. I’m looking for serious members.

I: That’s awesome ii. What will you are looking for in potential members?

M: Gentlemen who know how to treat and respect ladies, someone who is not a frat jumper, willing to put in time. I’m serious about pledging people that know anything good takes effort to accomplish and not looking for a free pass. They must be willing to wear a pledge fit.

I: There has been a real lack of commitment in the Greek community here. What is your take on Divine Nine organizations here on IMVU?

M: Yes and drama. We as adults need to be a positive role model for the young people on here. Men need to show younger males how a man is supposed to act and women how ladies are supposed to act. We are supposed to be showing that IMVU is more than strip clubs and hoes, and that positive things can happen in IMVU, not the negativity.

I: Many have noticed that there is a lack of unity among the D9 organizations. Do you agree and if so, once your chapter is up and running what would u do to support D9 unity.
