News at the Special Thanks A special thanks to Rose Amedeo’s family. On Rose’s birthday, her daughter ordered a cake to be shared by all of the residents for dessert that night. Also, a special thanks to Shirley Rayburn’s special friends. They shared a sheet cake with everyone on Palm Sunday. Both cakes were enjoyed by all! Peachtree Inn Palm Sunday Family Dinner Volunteer Luncheon The Orchards At Foxcrest held its annual volunteer luncheon on Friday, April 11. All of our volunteers were invited to a luncheon in their honor. The volunteers were presented with umbrellas sporting the Orchards logo. We truly appreciate them giving their time and talents to our residents. On Sunday, April 13, the Peachtree Inn held its annual “family dinner.” The residents invited their family and friends to join them for dinner. Chef Todd did a wonderful job preparing the food, which included ham, stuffed chicken breasts, roast beef and all the sides. And the assorted dessert buffet was excellent too! Veterans Being Honored (Leftt) Dick Rogers and Jim Heldreth speak to members of The TriState Burial Group Members of the Tri State Burial Group presented all veterans on campus with a gift. Each veteran received a hat with their branch of service embroidered on it. It was a great opportunity to share stories and reminisce of years past. All of our veterans had a wonderful time speaking to each other and member’s of the Tri-State Burial Group. Welcome New Resident Pat Bos
