Joseph Gibson, pictured here with his

military service during last month’s
Meet Our Heroes event.
When the therapy department and the recreation
department team up, there is no
stopping the fun. On Wednesday,
June 12th the residents at The
Orchards of Saxonburg played
balloon baseball! The game was
very intense. The two teams were
tied 4 to 4 in the first inning.
During the bottom of the second
inning, Team 2, named the Saxony
Snakes, made a comeback. The
score was 6 to 4 when the team
was up at bat. The Saxony Snakes
hit 2 home runs! The final score
was 6 to 7! Balloon baseball was a
blast. There was nothing but smiles
