were planted and they have already begun to sprout! I think it is safe to say spring has sprung! Upcoming Activities Christmas day TRIMMING THE As grows closer, the CHRISTMAS TREE residents at The Orchards of Saxonburg are celebrating as many traditions as possible. At the beginning of December, the residents got together and trimmed the tree. As Christmas carols played in the background ornaments were placed upon the tree. The residents sang along with the music and reminisced about Christmas past, present, and future. Trimming the Christmas tree is one tradition that will never go out of style! LET IT SNOW! Alice Lindesmith will be missed greatly as she retired after 30 years of service. As January comes sweeping in, it brings with it snow, snowmen, and staying warm. The Orchards of East Liverpool and The Pepperberry Suites will hold many activities to celebrate all that January brings. A “snowball” fight has been planned for each building to enjoy the favorite winter activity. Snow and snowmen crafts are being planned. Hot cocoa and making soup during culinary group will keep us warm and dry. Check the monthly activity calendar for all the months activities and times. TO THE PARADE! The Orchards of Saxonburg and the Grinch passed out candy to parade goers in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania! The Orchards came together to ensure area children would have warm hats and mittens this winter.
