CRYSTAL SNOWFLAKES
WANT TO MAKE YOUR OWN SNOWFLAKES
RIGHT AT HOME?
It is said that no two
snowflakes
are alike, and
the same can
be said for
our residents.
All are
beautifully
unique,
much as the snowflakes
they created one wintry
afternoon. If you’d like to
make your own colorful
crystal snowflakes like

these steps...
container. Trace over
your designs with glue.
Immediately sprinkle
your table salt on top of
the wet glue. Set aside
to dry leaving them
overnight.
Prepare your
watercolors to
bring color to
your snowflakes.
Use your
paintbrush
to drop beads of color
onto the salt lines.
The color will slowly
spread through the salt!
Add one color to your
snowflake or many. Be
sure to rinse your paint
brush in between colors
with clean water. The
SNOWFLAKES ARE BEAUTIFUL,
PURE AND WHITE, AND JUST LIKE US, NO TWO ARE ALIKE.
You will need:
Cardstock
A Pencil
School Glue
Table Salt
Water Color Paints
Eye Dropper or
Paintbrush
Use your pencil to draw
out your snowflakes on
the card stock. They can
be as simple or elaborate
as you like, keep in mind
you will be tracing them
with the glue.
Put a mat or paper
underneath of your
work station so you can
collect the excess salt
and pour it back into the

and vibrant while the

JUMPING GENE ON THE
KEYBOARD!
Gene Testa raised the
roof off of The Orchards of
Saxonburg on Thursday,
January 9th. He really
started the New Year off
on the right foot. There
was not a resident, family
member, or friend in sight
who wasn’t tapping their
toes, waving their arms, or
singing along to the songs
he played!
BLESSED SEASON
A BIG THANK YOU!
Thank you to all of the angels
out there helping to make
the holidays bright for our
residents at the Stone Pear
Pavilion with song, holiday
wishes, gifts, worship and
more!
