The Orchards CRYSTAL SNOWFLAKES WANT TO MAKE YOUR OWN SNOWFLAKES RIGHT AT HOME? It is said that no two snowflakes are alike, and the same can be said for our residents. All are beautifully unique, much as the snowflakes they created one wintry afternoon. If you’d like to make your own colorful crystal snowflakes like Mrs. Harpold , follow these steps... container. Trace over your designs with glue. Immediately sprinkle your table salt on top of the wet glue. Set aside to dry leaving them overnight. Prepare your watercolors to bring color to your snowflakes. Use your paintbrush to drop beads of color onto the salt lines. The color will slowly spread through the salt! Add one color to your snowflake or many. Be sure to rinse your paint brush in between colors with clean water. The SNOWFLAKES ARE BEAUTIFUL, PURE AND WHITE, AND JUST LIKE US, NO TWO ARE ALIKE. You will need: Cardstock A Pencil School Glue Table Salt Water Color Paints Eye Dropper or Paintbrush Use your pencil to draw out your snowflakes on the card stock. They can be as simple or elaborate as you like, keep in mind you will be tracing them with the glue.
