Peachtree Inn MOVIE NIGHT A movie night was held in the pub on Tuesday, January 21. The movie was “Evan Almighty.” Laughs were much needed on such a cold night. NEW RESIDENT Welcome to our new resident, Norma Carpenter. She is very familiar with our campus, since her home was in the back of our facility. Norma is living on the second floor of the Peachtree. COLD TEMPERATURES Due to the severe cold weather, a “soup luncheon” was held in the pub on Wednesday, January 8, instead of going out to lunch on the bus. The wind chills were below zero. The residents stayed in and warmed up with a hot bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup made by Chef Todd. Yummy! Then, on Wednesday, January 22, a pizza party was held in the pub, instead of going to Wendy’s and Walmart. Is spring here TREASURE HUNT The Treehouse kids came to visit. They were on a treasure hunt looking for their next clue. The had to say “P is for Pirate” in order to receive the next clue. Their treasure was popcorn, which they gobbled Happy Birthday! 2/15 Betty Hardman 2/26 Elwood Fox HAPPY NEW YEAR! Our annual New Year’s Eve singer came to entertain the residents of Pepperberry and Peachtree. Bob Potish played many songs by the Everly Brothers, Elvis, and Patsy Cline.
