Crystal’s favorite color is pink and her favorite
part of her job is seeing her students grow and
develop throughout the year. She also loves the
impact that she is able to make on the lives of
the children she comes into contact with.
Holiday Traditions
By: Lisa Shaw, Wee School Assistant Teacher
Every year at The Tree House, the
children and staff alike prepare for
the Holiday season. We have developed many Christmas traditions
that we have carried on since The
Tree House opened in 2009. For
example, our
classes read the
book “Elf on a
Shelf” and the
magical Elf appears in different classrooms
each day to
make sure the
children are behaving. We also
decorate a special Christmas Tree
with ornaments featuring the picture of every child enrolled at The
Tree House. Each year our tree
gets more and more ornaments!
One of our favorite traditions is the
Christmas Concert that we put on
for our
friends, families, and residents of The
Peachtree
Inn. Each one
of the classes,
beginning in
the one year
old room, prepare a poem
or song to the large crowd who attend the concert. After the concert
we have a reception with milk and
cookies for everyone. This year, our
Christmas Concert will be held on
December 12th at 10 am in the dining room at The Peachtree inn. We
want to wish everyone a very
happy and safe Holiday season!
