A rush of emotions came over us, as this was what might be the single most impressive thing I’ve ever seen. I could hardly focus on steadying our lantern while my mesmorized eyes wanted to stop and watch the other 100,000 lift off the ground like a sea of six-foot fireflies. We released our lantern, stood silently, and watched as ours reached to the heavens.
