12 - September-October 2013 Onymous Recipes Strawberry and apple crumble Apple, strawberry, and ginger. Delicious. Peel the apples and cut them into 1cm thick slices. Then place the apples into baking dish. Sprinkle some brown sugar and ginger over the apples and then place the strawberries evenly on top. 750g apples 100g light brown sugar 2 tsp finely chopped or powdered ginger 300g strawberries 250g flour Cut the cold butter into small pieces and 100g butter place in mixing bowl with sifted flour. Rub the butter and flour together until it?s Zest from 1 lemon 75g sugar a crumbly consistency. Stir in the sugar and lemon zest and then 1 tablespoon honey lay the crumble evenly on top of the fruit. Bake for 30 minutes at 190°C (preheated) and then take it out and drizzle with honey. Return it to the oven for a further 5-10 minutes but be careful not to burn it. Serves 6.
