Robert Milne ( 88-95 ) has been appointed Headmaster of Emanuel School in Wandsworth , London , from September 2017 . He was previously Deputy Headmaster ( Pastoral ) at Kings School , Wimbledon . Robert read English at Leicester University and is currently completing a masters degree at King ’ s College , London University . He taught English at Oundle School and at King Edward ’ s School , Birmingham before being appointed Head of English at Magdalen College School , Oxford in 2007 . Robert is a governor at a free school in Lambeth and a prep school in Twickenham . He continues to be a keen sportsman playing squash , golf and cricket as well as supporting the arts through his enjoyment of the theatre and London ’ s galleries .
James Steward ( 87-92 ) and his sister Hannah Moody ( née Steward , 90-99 ), both designers , have teamed up to develop the James Steward couture and ready-to-wear fashion collections based in Wetherby , Leeds . They showcased their latest designs at a charity fashion show at Pocklington School in March 2017 and at the Great Yorkshire Show in July . They recently worked with Gok Wan , attending a Fashion Brunch in Leeds and then joining him on the Gok Brunch roadshow .
Miles Zerny ( 82-92 ) is a director at Leeds-based recruitment firm , MET Marketing . He has worked for over 12 years in marketing recruitment working with big brand names in FMCG , consumer durables and a variety of B2B clients .

Sarah Peterman ( née Spencer , 88-98 ) travelled from her home in New York in February to meet her mum in Ottawa to watch OP Kyle Edmund ( 02-06 ) play in the Davis Cup against Canada . The match hit the headlines when Team GB won by default after Kyle ’ s opponent threw a tantrum at match point and accidentally injured the referee sending him to hospital . Sarah thoroughly enjoyed watching the tournament and cheering on a fellow OP ; she even wore her old school jumper to mark the occasion .
Richard Poskitt ( 93-98 ) is the Commercial Manager at ReFood ’ s anaerobic digestion ( AD ) plant in Doncaster . The plant processes 160,000 tonnes of food waste a year which it turns into power and fertiliser .
Charles Rook ( 87-97 ) and his brother Edward ( 91-01 ) work with their father , Robert , and their uncle , John , at the family farming business near Market Weighton . The farming enterprise includes a range of arable crops , a free-range egg laying unit , duck fattening and cattle , including 200 Stabiliser breeding cows . The Stabiliser breed was first developed at a meat research centre in Nebraska in the US . Benefits include improved economic efficiency of suckler cows and the production of consistently high eating quality beef for least cost
Matt Besford ( 05-14 ) is currently studying English Language at Newcastle University but song writing is his secret passion and occupies most of his spare time . His interest in song writing hails back to fourth year at Pocklington School , when he wrote and performed his first song ‘ Juliet ’ in House Drama as his first gig . Matt is now frequently seen gigging in Newcastle and occasionally York , to a much larger audience , which he hopes will continue to grow . Matt will soon be releasing an EP , containing four original songs , on Spotify , iTunes and Soundcloud and aims to complete his first album in the coming years , once he has the financial backing in place . Sam Bunce ( 09-16 ) ( shown right , in the picture ) is in his second year at Keele University , studying Physiotherapy . During the summer , he was invited to tour and join the U20 Yorkshire Terriers Rugby Union Development Squad in Australia and New Zealand . Amongst his team mates were fellow OPs Jonty Atkinson ( 06-17 ) ( pictured left ) and Liam Hessay ( 03-14 ) ( pictured middle ). The tourists played a total of five games , one in Australia and four in New Zealand . After an impressive start , winning the first two games , the final three matches sadly
Alice Cullen ( 08-15 ) ( left ) and Kate Pratt ( 05- 14 ) ( right ) became rivals in February 2017 when they found themselves on opposing sides at an inter-university hockey match between York 1 and Durham 3 . Kate is studying Law at Durham , whilst Alice is studying Mathematics at York . Both girls played hockey for Pocklington School and have continued playing at university . Durham won the match 2-0 although Kate herself couldn ’ t find a way past Alice in the York goal !
Tom Burke ( 01-12 ) studied History at the University of Sheffield . Since graduating in 2015 , he has completed a 9-month internship for an MP and now works for the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK , organising conferences with parliamentarians from Commonwealth countries to strengthen and promote parliamentary democracy .
Holly Chidley ( 02-13 ) took to the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the summer in a new production called Cult-ure , written by Jack Michael Stacey and produced by Holly . Holly wrote the original play , along with the Director , Charlie Jones . The Bind Theatre Company , of which Holly is an Artistic Director , had been working on it since September 2016 and the script was reworked by Jack Michael Stacey , ready to take it to the stage . Circled in their new support group , six young people all brought together by one thing – a journey from friendship to revenge . Cult-ure explores the effects of bullying and the true meaning of safety and support .
