PHOTO 1: SENIOR CHOIR 1957
Bob Loveridge (52-58) sent in the photograph opposite.
He writes: “I found this photo of Pocklington School Choir
combined with St Hilda’s Choir of Whitby. We gave two
concerts at Pocklington church and Whitby in 1957 (I think).
We sang the Te Deum Laudamus which Sefton Cottom
recorded on the large spool recorder!”

PHOTO MYSTERIES REVEALED
Thank you to everyone who got in touch with
the names of the boys in the three rugby team
photographs in last year’s magazine (page 15 if you
would like to refer back to them). Unfortunately, no
one was able to supply any details for photo 3, so it
remains a mystery! However here are the details for
the other two photos:
