Dionysus- A Picture of Dorian Gray

I believe, whole-heartedly, that Dionysus is an Oscar Wilde stan, or that Oscar Wilde is the human form of the god of parties. Beyond this, A Picture of Dorian Gray is 4a26b746a39711","be40068e66cb9c1885905caaf82cc081","111282d582fa7074b39449e0384b9853"],"items":[{"type":"JText","internalID":16,"layerIndex":0,"index":12,"points":"[{\"x\":-166.8,\"y\":-141.1},{\"x\":-166.8,\"y\":141.1},{\"x\":167,\"y\":141.1},{\"x\":167,\"y\":-141.1}]","strokeSize":0,"strokeStyle":"solid","strokeColor":2714876,"fillColor":4294967295,"transformMatrix":{"a":1,"b":0,"c":0,"d":1,"tx":177.6641975308638,"ty":445.43086419753024},"opacity":1,"link":"","tooltip":"","txt":"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"}],"cntPoint":{"x":177.76419753086378,"y":445.4308641975302},"generatedBy":"Crater Editor 2020"}

about how basing your identity on external things- things that change- prohibits growth. I just know that Dionysus would relate to the story, to the writing style, and especially to the author.

Athena- Their Eyes Were Watching God

I have one, incredibly specific reason that I know Athena would absolutely love this book. In the opening pages, the main character is described from a third person perspective. She is judged by the women and her body is over-sexualized by the men, and I know for a fact that Athena would rant to Aphrodite about it for at least a week. I can just feel it, that Athena would have a lot to say after every single chapter, after filling the margins with notes. Athena would adore this book for the story, the beautiful metaphors, and for expanding her horizons.

Apollo- The Heart of Hyacinth

Even though it's lesser known than these other books, I'm sure Apollo would absolutely love the poetic qualities and it has quite a lovely flow, especially for being prose. I also feel like Apollo would subconciously equate this book with his

former lover, Hyacinthus (naturally). He'd see himself in the characters, in their relationships, and in their actions, specifically, those done out of jealousy. Also, Apollo would get sucked into the storyline and finally take a moment to not be Apollo, and instead consider humanity, both us down here on earth, and his own.
