The OJCL Spring Torch | Page 8

I went to my first OJCL convention in 7th grade and I walked in lost. I didn't know anyone and I didn't know what to do during spirit or at GA, but that quickly faded. I met OJCLers that welcomed me in to the Latin family. I met people who shared my crazy love of Latin and I met people who I am proud to call true friends. Ms. Inderhees, my Latin teacher, thank you for encouraging me to run for office and supporting me through every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better Latin teacher. I am so thankful to have been on the executive board and to have gotten the chance to work with all of these amazing people. I want to thank everyone on the OJCL board and to tell them that even though this is my last year as an O study Po at Columbia University!
