Letter from the editor:
I have spent the last 5 years of my
life in the OJCL, and I don’t regret a
minute of it. My experience in the OJCL
has certainly shaped me into the person I
am today, and I am forever grateful for all
of the friends I have made along the way. I
hope that the OJCL will continue to inspire
students the way it inspired me.
Unfortunately, we did not get the
chance to have the OJCL convention this
year. However, I wanted to still allow the
2019-2020 OJCL board say goodbye to all
of the JCLers that they worked tirelessly to
support. I also wanted to include what
various clubs have been up to, so you have
inspiration for a socially distant JCL
experience! So, this edition of the Torch
features the farewell speeches of the 2019-
2020 OJCL board, as well as some chapter
updates, plus some content from the new
board we are welcoming in!
Also, I wanted to thank all of the
people who have worked behind the scenes
to give us the OJCL experience; the
sponsors, chaperones, SCLers and state
chairs who give their time to manage JCL
conventions and other events.
Farewell,
To all of the JCL: I will miss you.
