SUMMARY OF SEASON
T
he 2014 maple production
season once again proved
that Mother Nature is in control
of when the season starts and
stops. This season was probably one of the latest seasons
on record with most of the
syrup being produced in April. The production
was the third-highest in the last twenty years
with production slightly lower than last year at
546,000 gallons of syrup.
