Wilderness Festival continues to push boundaries as the build-up intensifies
Wilderness Festival promises to continue its tradition of pushing the boundaries of what you imagined possible at a festival . Reading based InAir build momentum ahead of release
If you ’ ve been hearing things about a stonking alt-rock band from Reading playing in the Oxford and Newbury areas , it may have been InAir . Performing in Banbury and Devizes , Wiltshire during July , the four piece have also netted themselves a BBC Introducing slot at The Purple Turtle in Reading itself . It ’ s all building towards a single release due in the latter half of July which is all being kept very hush hush , but bass player Aaron Iley got in touch with The Ocelot to tell us how excited the band were to release their debut material into the world . Open Mic sessions at The Bear in Oxford
A new Sunday Open Mic session has been started up in Oxford at The Bear Inn on Alfred Street . Having kicked off on June 12 and running every Sunday afterwards , The Rock Bottoms acted as hosts and effective headliners for the first event . It ’ s another chance to showcase your skills as a performer in the heart of Oxford city centre and meet some of the scene ’ s key movers and shakers .

New live recording service
Must Be the Music Live Recordings officially launched during June , providing the opportunity for artists to get the essence of their live performance recorded effectively and clearly . MBTM have worked with various Oxford groups such as The Shades , Joaquim and The Smoke Machine and the Christchurch Jazz Band and are able to cover speakers , bands , solo artists and most specialist recording situations .
